Molly,
Thank you so much for sending me the apron for the cards! You are so kind and generous! It was such a sweet surprise to receive in the mail for myself as well as for my three girls! I have to tell you that we started working with the cards about two weeks ago and the girls now start the day off by asking me if they can pick their “chore” for the day! And during the day if we have not had time to get to the cards, my five year old will say “Oh no Mom! We forgot to do our chore card today!” They abosolutely love them and remind me about them! I have so enjoyed seeing them dance around the house singing as they help tidy up! You are a genius for putting these together and I just thank you so much for your time and skill in following through to make them accessible for other moms to use! I am telling everyone about them! Thank you!
I am so glad that I saw them in the gift shop at the ranch and more importantly, that you were there during that same time so I could meet you and thank you in person! What a treat for me! I meant to bring them to you the last night at dinner to sign but unfortunately two of our girls got sick. Anyway, it was wonderful to be there! We had such a great time and will definitely go back!
Thank you again!

“My Mom has always believed in the importance of children learning responsibility and a good work ethic at a young age. This game helps do just that… it equips children with those qualities through performing fun tasks around the house. It helps make those everyday tasks much more enjoyable. Both my sister and I have fond memories of these cards… taking turns choosing the tasks for the day… wondering which ones we would get! (Not the dishes, not the dishes!)
I’m so proud of my mom for taking something that started out as an idea and turning it into something tangible to share with others. It took a few years (and lots of nagging from me) to see this project to fruition, but now it’s here and I’m looking forward to sharing it with my children.
So, if you have young children… go ahead and give em a try! If not… well, I’m sure you have some family or friends who could benefit from them too! I would love to see these “take off” so my mom can see the benefit of all her hard work! Thanks for the support!” Sara Smith McIntyre—July 15, 2009

Hi Molly,
Feedback– We just started using the ResponsiBulder builder product and we have seen immediate improvement in our kids and ourselves. The key with the product are the very creative cards that are used to depict responsibilities. It’s viewed as fun project that builds responsibility and illustrates the childrens’ contribution to the family. I would highly recommend this product to any family !!!!! Please feel free to call us if you would like.. One recommendation is to offer more blank cards as part of the package. My wife has already recommended this product to family and friends.
Good luck and take care..

This product really does work! I am a living testament to the power of Responsibuilders. Many years ago as Mom used the cards to translate daily chores into fun, my Mom was laying the foundation to how I would pursue high school activities, college coursework and even my corporate life. Today, I hold my bachelors in Chemistry with a minor in math and I am now looking to obtain my MBA. Each of these would not have been possible had I lacked the work ethic to see these pursuits through to the final product. However, since my Mom diligently employed Responsibuilders and the concept behind it, I was completely equipped.
Now that Mom has brought the project full-circle with beautiful cards, a helpful organizer, and the concept, Mom is employing this new and updated version with my three-year old. While he does not fold, he can put items on a hanger and hang them up. While he cannot load the dishwasher, he does stand at the sink and pretend to wash the dishes. While he cannot wash the windows by himself, he can stand in attendance and watch as a helper. Even at three, Jake is learning – finding the joy and satisfaction that comes from a job well-done.
So you need to ask yourself, what is the value of raising kids who are responsible, giving, compassionate, and goal-oriented? I would call it priceless. Therefore, for less than a penny a day, you can use this game and instill results that will last a lifetime.

First, I would just like to say what an inspirational, wonderful person the creator of this game, Molly Smith, is. She has many gifts and talents and this is just one of the gems in her treasure trove we get to partake in. I am especially blessed and thankful for having met this wonderful woman of God.
I have to add this is an awesome game! My daughters love it and my six year old has taken charge of making sure everyone has chores every week and that they make it to the done pocket at the appropriate time!
This is definitely a game that helps with organization, delegating responsibility and the goal is not only to teach responsibility to my daughters in my case but also allow my girls to learn to do things I might otherwise just do myself! So it keeps me as a mother focused and it definitely helps with teaching the children responsibility, something that is desperately needed in our society today!
A must have for every household with children!
